About the MRCOG Part 1 exam
The MRCOG Part 1 exam is the first step to membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It tests the basic sciences as applied to obstetrics and gynaecology across fourteen subjects: anatomy, biochemistry, biophysics, clinical management, data interpretation, embryology, endocrinology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, and statistics and epidemiology. Two papers of 100 single best answer questions each, no negative marking, pass mark set by Ebel's method.
